Thomas is from Melbourne Australia. Since the age of 4 he has been dancing, music making and playing in the sun. Two people who made the largest impact on his education growing up were: Christopher Horsey, a founding member of Tap Dogs; and Grant Swift, artistic director of the 'Swift Rhythm Hoofers' and the first Melbourne International Tap Festival.
Since 2010 Thomas has been based in Austin Texas performing full time with Tapestry Dance Company under the artistic direction of the renowned Acia Gray and will be joining them again this year for his third season.
He has performed around the world at events & venues such as: Tapestry's 2011 China Tour The Souls of Our Feet; Festival International Danse de Encore Québec, Canada; Peter Norton's Symphony Space New York; the Vancouver International Tap Festival; The Long Center for the Performing Arts; Matt Shield's monthly Tapestry on the Fringe; Along major Australian events such as The Falls Music and Arts Festival; the Melbourne International Tap Festival 2008/2012; the Bohemian Masquerade Ball; and the Melbourne Summer Arts Festival.
