Rhythm Lives! features the legendary Arthur Duncan (formerly of the Laurence Welk Show), and Montreal native and tap dance icon Ethel Bruneau who came to Montreal on tour with Cab Calloway in the 50's – and never left.
Rhythm Lives! is directed by Matthew Shields (Tapestry Dance Company – Austin TX) and showcases Canadian tap artists Tanya Rivard (Montreal Tap Dance Festival Producer/Director), Travis Knights (Tapestry Dance Company, Tap Dogs) and Allison Toffan (Toronto Rhythm Initiative)…and many more tap dance talents…from Canada and from around globe!
